This festive season, Excel World takes centre stage once again as it transforms into Colombo’s coolest and most exciting destination with the spectacular return of Snow World 2025 and the grand introduction of FunPort, a reimagined, all-encompassing entertainment zone designed to elevate leisure and family fun in the city.
Capturing the true spirit of the season, Snow World 2025 stands as the highlight of this year’s celebrations, offering an immersive North Pole–inspired experience. The grand launch of Snow World 2025 was truly magical. This year, Snow World carries a deeper purpose. A portion of every ticket will be directed to the Disaster Management Fund to support families impacted by Cyclone Ditwah, allowing our festive celebrations to bring warmth and relief to those who need it most. Guests were dazzled by vibrant dance performances that lit up the atmosphere, followed by the much-awaited arrival of Santa, who delighted children with treats, gifts and festive cheer. With young guests joining the celebration, laughter and excitement filled the air, making the opening night a heartwarming display of joy and togethernek. This year, the magical winter spectacle makes a comeback with added enchantment, transforming the heart of Colombo into a frosty paradise where visitors of all ages can celebrate the season’s joy. Festive DJ beats energise the space, turning it into a lively playground of snow, sound and celebration. Open to the public from 9 to 31 December daily between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Snow World invites families, friends and holiday seekers to experience moments of wonder that feel straight out of the North Pole—right here in Colombo.

Alongside the winter magic of Snow World, Excel World proudly unveils FunPort, a bold new identity for its entertainment zone that brings together modern gaming, bowling, Gel Blaster and recreational rides under one roof.
FunPort’s newly enhanced ride park is carefully curated to appeal to thrill-seekers, families with young children, and young adults. Guests can enjoy the pulse-racing excitement of electric bumper cars, the spinning charm of the ballerina–octopus ride, the dramatic sway of the pirate ship, the playful journey of the elephant track train, the delightful twirl of the coffee cup ride, and the timeless elegance of a 16-seat carousel—offering endless moments of excitement and nostalgia.
