English Christmas cake mixing at Galadari

As the festive season draws closer, with it comes the hotel’s annual cake mixing ceremony which is conducted with much enthusiasm. The Galadari Colombo recently held its traditional cake mixing in the Centre Lobby in the presence of all.

This year was special, as the theme was created and brought to life by Executive Chef Thushan Fernando. A special parade led by bagpipers, English guards, a team of girls dressed in festive outfits followed by the Chef Team paraded across the Lobby, all of which took everybody by surprise.

General Manager Sampath Siriwardena together with his guests and the management team joined in as the Chef Team initiated the Christmas cake mixing ceremony. The evening ended with much cheer and merriment.
