Cinnamon Grand Colombo unveils longest ever Yule Log

In a spectacular celebration of time-honoured Christmas traditions, Cinnamon Grand Colombo proudly presented the unveiling of the city of Colombo’s largest Yule Log ever, measuring an impressive 300 feet and weighing 300 kg.

On the morning of Saturday, 16 December, guests, friends, and well-wishers gathered for the official ceremony presided over by Cinnamon Colombo Hotels Area Vice President and Cinnamon Grand Colombo General Manager Kamal Munasinghe, along with Cinnamon Grand Colombo Executive Chef Kapila Jayasinghe.

The 300-foot-long Chocolate Sponge log pays homage to the traditional French creation known as Bûche De Noël (Yule Log). Following the unveiling, the log was meticulously divided into individual blocks, each measuring 1 foot and weighing 1 kg. Limited quantities of these exclusive Yule Log blocks are available for purchase at Rs. 3,900 each at Coffee Stop for those looking to own a slice of this historic creation and add a touch of grandeur to their Christmas tables.
