Cinnamon Grand Colombo welcomes October with a diverse calendar of dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences, bringing together international cuisine, Sri Lankan culture, live sport, family experiences and seasonal celebrations across the hotel’s restaurants and venues.
The month begins with A Grand Oktoberfest at Cheers, running from 1 to 31 October from 6:00 p.m. onwards. Guests can enjoy Oktoberfest-inspired cuisine, selected beverages and entertainment throughout the month, bringing the spirit of the celebrated German tradition to the heart of Colombo.
Sri Lankan culture takes centre stage at Nuga Gama on 10 October with “Nuga Naada, Where Sri Lankan Rhythms Meet Modern Beats.” Set beneath the iconic banyan tree, the evening combines traditional drumming, contemporary DJ entertainment and authentic Sri Lankan flavours. The experience runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is priced at Rs. 7,500 nett per person.
Another favourite makes its return later in the month with “Back to Chutneys, Some Memories Deserve a Comeback,” from 22 to 25 October at the Courtyard. From 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., guests can rediscover a selection of authentic Indian favourites and familiar flavours that celebrate the much-loved Chutneys dining experience.
Nuga Gama continues the celebrations on 30 October with “Baila Night Under the Nuga Tree.” Sri Band SL will lead an evening of music, culture and celebration from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. priced at Rs. 7,500 nett per person, the evening also includes a complimentary special beverage.
The month concludes at Plates with The Halloween Feast on 31 October. The themed dinner buffet will bring together seasonal flavours and a touch of spooky spirit from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., priced at Rs. 8,800 nett per person.
Beyond the month’s special events, Cinnamon Grand Colombo continues to offer a variety of ongoing dining and leisure experiences. At Breeze Bar, the BBQ Feast for Four offers a hearty sharing experience with special beverage offers, available daily from 6:00 p.m. onwards at Rs. 15,900 nett for four. Guests looking for a daytime escape can also enjoy the LuxDay Retreat, combining pool access, a lunch buffet, welcome drinks and evening tea or coffee for Rs. 9,000 nett per person.
At Cheers, guests can enjoy a Sri Lankan set lunch from Monday to Saturday, featuring rice, two meats, two vegetables and accompaniments at Rs. 4,500 nett per person. Thursday evenings are dedicated to Ladies’ Night, with live DJ entertainment and exclusive offers from 7:00 p.m. onwards.
For those seeking an elevated evening dining experience, The London Grill presents its five-course set menu daily from 7:00 p.m. onwards. Priced at Rs. 12,900 nett per person, the menu is complemented by a special beverage.
Sports fans also have plenty to look forward to at Cheers. Live screenings of the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 continue through 6 October, while the Rugby Nations Championship runs through 8 November, accompanied by food and selected beverage offers.
Nuga Gama also extends its distinctive village-inspired setting to the corporate community with its Business Lunch Special, offering Sri Lankan buffet experiences for teams and clients, with packages starting from Rs. 6,000 nett per person.
