Animation crime comedy ‘The Bad Guy’ in 7 Lankan cinemas from today

American computer-animated crime comedy ‘The Bad Guy’ will be screened in seven Lankan cinemas from today.

The cinemas are LSC – Liberty by Scope Cinemas; CCC – Colombo City Centre; PVR Colombo 2; KCC – Kandy City Centre; Majestic Cinema; Savoy 3D and Savoy Premier – Rajagiriya.

Produced by DreamWorks Animation and Scholastic Entertainment. The Bad Guy is directed by Pierre Perifel (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Etan Cohen and Hilary Winston, based on the children’s book series of the same name by Aaron Blabey, who serves as executive producer. 

The film stars the voices of Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein.

In a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals co-exist, a gang of criminal animals, known as Mr. Wolf, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, and Ms. Tarantula, have made a deal to go good to avoid serving prison time after taking some advice from Professor Marmalade. While Mr. Wolf and his gang are beginning to enjoy this new lifestyle, a new villain emerges.
