Virtusan Chamindra at Delhi Uni. Open Source Conference

Virtusa’s Head of Strategic Initiatives (GTO) Chamindra de Silva was recently invited by the University of Delhi to give a presentation and be a panellist on Open Source in their international conference on ‘Open Paradigms in Education’.

The event was held at the renowned India International Centre and was organised by the Acharya Narendra Dev College of the University of Delhi. Participants included professors, teachers and students from multiple departments interested in the concepts of open education and open source.

At the event, Virtusa donated four hardcover copies of the book ‘Software Development: An Open Source Approach’ that was recently co-authored by de Silva and published by Chapman & Hall/CRC Press in its ‘Innovations in Software Engineering and Software Development Series’.
