Samsung’s latest digital signage solutions offer businesses cost-efficient solutions built on the newly developed Samsung Smart Signage Platform powered by a System on Chip (SoC) semiconductor. For the first time, software partners will have the opportunity to develop apps optimised for an assortment of service environments with Samsung’s Software Development Kit (SDK).

“Our 2013 line-up of professional-grade monitors delivers the very best in picture quality and design, at a price that is affordable for aspiring professionals everywhere. At the same time, Samsung’s new large format displays are easier to control than ever before, providing simple, cost-effective solutions for businesses of all sizes,” said Uday Bhat, Director – IT, Samsung India. “As the global display market leader, Samsung continues to set the bar for innovative consumer and commercial monitor and display products.”

Series 7 Touch (SC770): Touch-sensitive monitor

Samsung’s cutting-edge SC770 Touch Monitor is the company’s first multi-touch display optimised for Window’s 8. Users can drag, rotate or select objects on the screen, supporting up to 10 points of simultaneous multi-touch.

The SC770’s ergonomic stand easily adjusts to adhere to users’ viewing preferences. Capable of a 60-degree tilt, the flexible monitor features an ultra-slim design and wide viewing angels to deliver a profoundly immersive viewing experience.

Series 7 (SC750): Ergonomic design

Designed with users’ convenience in mind, Samsung’s Series 7 SC750 monitor features a unique, ergonomic design that is capable of a 90-degree pivot. Optimised for viewing documents or web browsing in landscape or portrait mode, the monitor’s slim stand positions the screen at precisely eye-level.

Sporting an elegant, cylinder-shaped metal stand, the SC750 supports ultra-sharp images, touting a 3000:1 contrast ratio, which is more than three times that of a standard monitor.

Series 9 (SB970): Professionally pre-calibrated monitor

Samsung’s award-winning Series 9 LED Monitor was first unveiled in the second half of 2012, delivering consumers superior picture quality and true-to-life colour accuracy like never before. Before leaving the factory, each Series 9 monitor is individually hand-tuned by professional technicians to ensure accuracy and precision. Additionally, the monitor’s built-in colour calibration engine enables users to adjust the uniformity, gamma and white balance of the display using Samsung’s proprietary Natural Colour Expert technology, resulting in the most accurate colour possible.

The SB970’s PLS (Plane Line Switching) panel and Wide-Quad high-definition resolution (WQHD) deliver four times more detail than traditional HD. With an exquisitely minimalistic design that was inspired by modern architecture, the SB970 has received many of the industry’s top design honours, including the 2012 IDEA Bronze Award and the Japan Good Design Award.

Comprehensive, cost-efficient solution for businesses

The Samsung Smart Signage Platform provides a simple, easy-to-use interface, eliminating complicated set-up and installation processes.

Featuring a dual-core CPU, full codec video processor and multiple storage options, the Smart Signage Platform eliminates the need for external devices to playback content with an embedded high-performance media player, saving users both time and money.

New SDK for MEC and PEC Series LFDs

Samsung’s new SDK for signage software, the first-ever SDK for the commercial display market, allows software partners to develop customised signage applications suitable for an array of business and user-focused environments.

The MEC series of slim, eco-friendly LED large format displays reduce costs for businesses and are ideal for commercial, public, corporate and information digital signage solutions that require crisp images with accurate colour representation.

The PEC series features an ultra-slim, lightweight design that allows users to enjoy an expansive, enhanced visual experience on video walls in environments such as airports, restaurants and 24-hour retail shops.
