Mobitel webcasts Regional Project Management Conference 2012; unveils ‘m-Event’ platform

Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel unveiled its truly mobile event web-casting platform ‘m-Event,’ with the recently held Regional Project Management Conference 2012, in Colombo.

The Conference themed ‘Accelerate National Development through Best Practices of Project Management’ was hosted by the Project Management Institute (PMI) – Sri Lanka Chapter, aimed at promoting best practices of Project Management as Sri Lanka is well poised to embark on many large and complex projects with the dawn of the post-war development era.

The national mobile telecom service provider and the exclusive communications partner of the conference, Mobitel, having realised the importance of this timely event extended its fullest support by webcasting the key note speeches all over the world via internet using Mobitel’s novel product m-Event which enabled thousands of professionals around the world to participate virtually.

m-Event facilitates event organisers with a fully fledged web-casting platform which includes services such as event scheduling, creating list of invitees, composing and sending invitations. Such email invitations contain the web link for the selected Invitees to access and watch the event live as and when it happens.
