Other awards of the night were Best Public Sector Partner of the year, won by MS Technologies Ltd and Best Partner in Education won by E-W Information Systems Limited. Best Partner Lead Competitive Win Back of the year went to Open Systems Integrators Ltd and the Best Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner of the year was awarded to C3 Solutions Ltd.; Partner of the year for Maldives was won by Maxcom Technologies Ltd., while Millennium Information Technologies Ltd and H-One were joint winners of the Best Office 365 Partner of the year – Enterprise. Millennium Technologies secured the Best Large Account Reseller (LAR) of the year award.
ZILLIONe Technologies Ltd., who was named the Country Partner of the year at the Microsoft international Partner Awards earlier this year, also won the best Office 365 Partner of the year – SMB award. Best Reseller of the year was DMS Electronics Ltd and the Best Dynamics Partner of the year was Softserve Ltd. The award for Best Managed Reseller of the year went to Open Systems Integrators Ltd while Trident Corporation Ltd., walked away with the Best Distributor of the year award.
Imran Vilcassim, Country Manager for Microsoft Sri Lanka who congratulated all the winners reiterated their importance for the company’s success and said that Microsoft Sri Lanka celebrated many regional successes in the past year and at the centre of that success were their partners.
“Mobile and Cloud Technology is changing the world and today the world is moving in that new direction. We as a Company are engaged in giving people a real digital experience. From a partner perspective here in Sri Lanka and around the world we see that our Cloud partners are profiting more from Microsoft than our traditional partners.
“We are also making some great devices on the mobile platform through our partnership with Nokia. I am excited that you as our partners are embracing these changes with us as we step into a new world. We have done some great work in both the private and public sectors and will continue to invest on level with our vision for this country. Microsoft might be a multinational corporation but in Sri Lanka we are a local company and we have some great plans for you our partners in FY15,” he said.
