Announces 10 full scholarships CICRA Consultancies Ltd. – Sri Lanka’s premier cyber security training and consultancy organisation – will offer 10 full scholarships to follow EC-Council Network Security Administrator (ENSA) training program. The scholarships – each valued at Rs. 65,000 course fee and a $ 250 worth complementary exam voucher – was announced recently during an official ceremony in Colombo to launch the ENSA qualification in Sri Lanka. “Network security plays a major role in protecting the corporate IT infrastructure. Therefore, we are pleased to introduce this advanced training program for all network and system administrators in Sri Lanka,” CICRA Director/CEO Boshan Dayaratne said. “Some of the key areas that the participants will learn from ENSA training are intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems, log analysis, patch management, virtual private networks and remote networking, creating fault tolerance, incident response, disaster recovery and planning, and network vulnerability assessment,” Dayaratne said. “Students will also learn how to evaluate network and Internet security issues and design, and how to implement successful security policies and firewall strategies. In addition, they will learn how to expose system and network vulnerabilities and defend against them,” he said. Dayaratne said that ENSA training is different from CICRA’s flagship training program Certified Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures (C|EH). “ENSA certification looks at the network security in defensive view while the CEH certification program looks at the security in offensive mode,” he said. Those who are interested for the full scholarship offer can apply online by visiting our website www.cicra.lk on or before 7 February. The 10 lucky winners will be selected from a draw, he said. CICRA is an accredited training centre of International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), USA.
