BOI signs agreement with ERP service provider Totalamber

Totalamber Ltd. recently announced the signing of an agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, with plans to further invest in the talent and IT skills of local graduates to better serve its growing client base in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support solutions and business intelligence services. The agreement was signed in the presence of BOI Chairman Dr. Lakshman Jayaweera, with the BOI Certificate of Registration being formally accepted by Totalamber Vice President Asia Pacific Asela Samarapperuma, from the Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena. The BOI approval sees UK headquartered Totalamber Ltd., continually investing in Sri Lanka. It is expected that Totalamber Asia Pacific, the organisation’s second office in Sri Lanka will become recognised as a knowledge hub for Microsoft, SharePoint, IFS, Oracle and QlikView services. Totalamber is also looking at setting up an R&D Centre for Microsoft mobile and Windows application development in Sri Lanka. Totalamber’s anticipates increasing its employee number to over a hundred by the end of the year 2014, creating more specialised opportunities in the island nation. This would further strengthen Totalamber’s operations in supporting their international clientele in implementing, enhancing, upgrading, rolling out, support and replacing of ERP solutions.
