Zoho Corporation, a leading global technology company founded in India, this week announced that it is serving 100 million users worldwide across its over 55 business applications, with a particular emphasis on the outstanding 30% revenue growth achieved in the Sri Lankan market in 2023.

This progress in the local market was led by strong growth in demand for Zoho Workplace, an integrated productivity suite, Zoho CRM, a customer management solution, as well as Zoho Recruit, a recruitment platform.

Zoho is the first bootstrapped SaaS company to reach the global milestone of 100 million users, which comes on the heels of the company reaching 1 billion in annual revenue last year.

In a demonstration of its commitment to local customers, Zoho’s user conference ‘Zoholics’ convened in Sri Lanka for the very first time on 23 January, 2024 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo. The over-subscribed event spanned two tracks covering solutions from sales and marketing to collaboration, HR and developer tools. Zoho’s user conferences are a key opportunity to educate businesses in Sri Lanka on how software solutions will drive digital transformation. The Zoho team was on hand to provide enhanced support to customers in the business community in Sri Lanka and to spur the conversation for digital transformation in businesses and foster stronger relationships with valued clients and partners.

As Zoho continues to grow, it remains dedicated to delivering inventive technology and value to their SaaS solutions customers. This year, we have seen technology itself being upended with generative AI. As a solutions provider, Zoho has introduced significant enhancements across product offerings to ensure customers have the best possible technology for their business needs. Alongside these advancements, Zoho has observed substantial growth in the APAC and Sri Lanka, with widespread adoption of various products across the portfolio.

Zoho’s suite of over 55 applications provide solutions for businesses across their entire business operations. With Zia, Zoho’s AI assistant, artificial intelligence and generative AI have become more accessible to all employees, providing a great benefit to businesses as technology can now be integrated into the daily work of employees in all roles.

Zoho’s solutions are well positioned to provide businesses in Sri Lanka looking for a partner in their digital transformation journey. For over a decade, Zoho has been executing and implementing AI (Zia) across its product portfolio, developing in-house technology running on the company’s private cloud.

The three core tenets of Zoho’s AI strategy are customer experience, customer privacy and customer value.

Available in its marketplace, Zoho’s new generative AI extensions, powered by ChatGPT, complement the broad portfolio of AI technology Zoho already supports. This new technology has been contextually integrated into Zoho’s applications and can be leveraged right away by users of all stripes.
