  • Sri Lankan EdFinTech startup Yara to launch Talkative Parents and Quanta in Botswana
  • Supports schools with predictive analytics and seamless communication solutions

Yara Technologies Ltd., a fast-scaling EdFinTech startup in Sri Lanka, has announced a strategic resale partnership with Clover Infotech to launch its flagship platforms – Talkative Parents and Quanta – in Botswana. This partnership represents a pivotal step in Yara’s further Africa expansion strategy and a bold move toward transforming the education ecosystem with data intelligence, AI-powered tools, and inclusive digital access.

With over 600,000 K12 students and 60,000 higher education learners, Botswana presents a good potential EdTech market. Together with Clover Infotec’s in-country distribution and stakeholder networks, Yara Technologies is well-positioned to accelerate digital adoption across the country, starting with premium private institutions and expanding to the broader school system.

“At Yara, we are building more than platforms; we are building the digital rails for education systems in emerging markets,” said Yara Technologies CEO Chaminda V. Silva. “Our partnership with Clover Infotec gives us a localised launchpad to scale quickly while staying sharply focused on solving real problems faced by schools, educators, and families.”

Talkative Parents is a secure and compliant two-way parent-school digital communication platform, already trusted in Asia. The platform simplifies school engagement, boosts parent participation, and reduces reliance on informal channels such as social media. Its ease of use and accessibility make it ideal for mass adoption across the sector.

Quanta, an advanced data intelligence and analytics suite designed for educational institutions. Quanta delivers predictive insights, real-time reporting and AI-powered decision support. It also includes LLM-driven content generation tools for exam papers and questions, significantly improving administrative efficiency.

The launch is backed by a joint go-to-market strategy, combining Yara’s EdTech platform capabilities with Clover Infotec’s extensive presence and credibility in the region. The partnership has already sparked interest among early adopters. This phased expansion begins with premium schools that can immediately benefit from Quanta’s analytics and AI features. Post-consolidation of the initial phase, the target rollout would scale to include larger school networks across the country, focusing on bridging the communication gap.

“Botswana’s education system is ready for digital transformation,” said Clover Infotec Managing Director Mahesh Patel. “This partnership brings scalable, future-proof solutions that directly address the evolving needs of schools, administrators, and families.”
