VMware appoints Yusuf Shiraz as new Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives

VMware, Inc., a leading innovator in enterprise software, has announced the appointment of Yusuf Shiraz as the new country manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives. Armed with almost two decades of experience in the IT industry,

Yusuf will focus on leading VMware’s business development, growth and strategy across Sri Lanka and Maldives, while strengthening the company’s presence and customer relationships. 

In his new role, Yusuf will also strengthen the delivery of VMware’s cutting-edge innovations to help organisations boost business agility, scalability, and resilience in today’s distributed environment.

Prior to his current appointment, Yusuf was the Partner Business Manager at VMware where he led the company’s partner and go-to market strategies across Sri Lanka and Maldives in the past year. Before joining VMware, Yusuf was a Business Head at Dell Technologies and Country Business Head at Lenovo. In his leadership roles, he led strategic accounts and was responsible for the end-to-end business strategy and growth across multiple nascent economies including Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan.

Yusuf graduated from LCC InfoTech Indonesia with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Anglia Ruskin.
