The pandemic and post-pandemic business environment, in particular, has inundated the Board Agenda with new issues and different levels of urgency. Cyber Security has been rated as one of the top-most

priorities for Boards in recent times. Cybersecurity governance will continue to be a matter of importance for boards of directors. Boards which consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and companies that manage the entire portfolio of risks, including cyber, are proven to do better in the marketplace.

Sycbers Ltd. Chairman/Co-Founder Madu Ratnayake will be the Keynote Speaker at a webinar focused on what Boards of Directors are required to know in order to help their organisations ensure they are prepared for potential cyber-attacks. With an increase in the number of cyber-attacks in the recent past, the question arises as to how companies are prioritising cyber security, and directors are now called to possess a higher level of knowledge of vulnerabilities brought about by

digitisation.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) stands at the forefront of corporate governance in Sri Lanka, bringing together a large number of members comprising of directors of private and public companies representing both the private and public sectors in Sri Lanka. SLID is committed towards helping its members build better directors, better boards and better companies.
