Finally, SINTEF Senior Researcher Dr. Franz Geog Fuchs, separated hype from realistic expectations in quantum computing.

Day two continued to fascinate participants with equally engaging presentations. Zone24X7 Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Gerard Fernando, discussed the crucial role of governance and regulation in AI. SpaceIn Sdn Bhd Founder and CEO and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Senior Lecturer Dr. Norilmi Amilia Ismail intrigued the audience with the potential of PocketQube satellites for IoT connectivity. Microsoft New Zealand Azure NZ Digital Innovation Lead Isuru Fernando, offered a humanistic and ethical view on AI design. Rounding off the conference, MeshMinds and The MeshMinds Foundation Founder and Chief Connecting Officer Kay Vasey, unlocked the metaverse, discussing pioneering opportunities for the Asia-Pacific region.

A notable highlight was the lively engagement during the quiz sessions conducted each day by the conference’s training partner, Trainocate.
