In recognition of its unique contribution and innovative approaches towards Sri Lankan exports, leading software solution companies BoardPAC and IronOne Technologies, bags five prestigious Gold Awards at the 27th Annual NCE Export Awards 2019 which concluded recently.

BoardPAC and IronOne Technologies were honoured at this year’s event held at the Shangri-La Ballroom, with the prestigious award, Best Sri Lankan Brand Exporter. This award was presented as result of their global branding and marketing initiatives and strategies implemented for their products and services. 

Additionally, BoardPAC and IronOne Technologies clinched a Gold Award for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) related Services Sector, and the Gold for Most Outstanding SME Exporter. BoardPAC and IronOne Technologies Co-founder and CEO Lakmini Wijesundera, was recognised for her exceptional business acumen and thus awarded the Gold Award for the Best Woman Exporter for the third consecutive year.

The gala award ceremony ended with BoardPAC and IronOne Technologies receiving the prestigious Memorial Patrick Amarasinghe Challenge Trophy for its significant contribution to exports in Sri Lanka. 

The annual NCE Export Awards, organised by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE), the only chamber exclusively serving the exporter community, acknowledges the nation’s outstanding export industry players and celebrates their valuable role towards the industry and national economy.

Lakmini Wijesundera said, “We are humbled and excited to be recognised as the Best Sri Lankan Brand Exporter once again, along with all the other accolades. This wouldn’t have been possible if not for the great team effort by our staff in paving the way for these awards. Additionally, I am deeply honoured to have received the Best Woman Exporter of the Year Award in recognition of growing the company and succeeding on an international stage. This success is a testament to the level of skill, innovation and commitment of our team, as we continually strive to push boundaries in implementing a clear export strategy and positioning ourselves as a world leader. And finally, all this wouldn’t be possible if not for this esteemed event hosted by the National Chamber of Exporters, led under Ramya Weerakoon – President and Shiham Marikar – Secretary General/CEO of the National Chamber of Exporters.”
