LAUGFS Group IT marks another milestone with ISO/IEC 22301:2012 certification

Reinforcing the commitment to provide world class services, LAUGFS Group IT marks yet another landmark achievement by receiving the ISO/IEC 22301:2012 certification from Bureau Veritas for Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). 

Implemented with the expert assistance of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), the management system is designed to protect, reduce and recover from internal and external threats encountered by organisations.

Our ISO 22301 certification is applicable across our protected and disaster recovery sites. In our journey of process standardisation, we were also certified with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 last year for our Information Security Management System. This year, we will further strengthen our IT services management capabilities by pursuing ISO 20,000 for IT services Management.”

ISO 22301 is an international framework and benchmark that has been developed to guide businesses in identifying potential threats to a company’s critical business functions, and to build effective backup systems and processes to safeguard the interests of stakeholders to ensure continuity of critical business functions in the event of disruptions. It specifies the requirements to plan, implement, monitor, review and improve a company’s business continuity management system, thereby minimising the impact of disruptions.
