InvestLab Business Solutions recently marked its fifth anniversary, celebrating five years of growth in the global outsourcing and professional services sector while introducing RightVantage, a new venture focused on serving the Sri Lankan market.
Founded five years ago, InvestLab Business Solutions has developed expertise in delivering outsourcing and Employer of Record solutions for international clients across sectors including construction, legal, architecture, accounting and financial services.
Operating with its headquarters in Australia and a presence in Sri Lanka, the company has built its business around supporting organisations with operational solutions and access to specialised professional capabilities, positioning itself as a bridge between international clients and Sri Lankan professional talent. The celebration also reflected on the milestone and outlined the company’s plans for the next phase of expansion.
Addressing the gathering, InvestLab Business Solutions Director Operations Gayan Senanayake reflected on the company’s evolution from a vision-driven initiative into an established service provider.
He said the anniversary represented more than a business milestone, highlighting the role of perseverance, partnerships, client confidence and employee commitment in shaping the organisation’s progress over the past five years.
“Five years ago, InvestLab was founded with the belief that professional services should go beyond delivering solutions, they should create lasting relationships, build trust and make a meaningful difference,” Senanayake said.
He added that the company’s achievements were supported by the confidence of clients, guidance from mentors, encouragement from families and the dedication of its team members, describing these as the foundations on which InvestLab’s growth had been built.
InvestLab Business Solutions Managing Director Karen Rubera highlighted the company’s achievements, challenges and future direction during her address, reflecting on the lessons gained throughout its five-year journey.
She emphasised the importance of adaptability, innovation and maintaining strong relationships as the company continues to grow in an evolving business environment.
The event also marked the official launch of RightVantage, a new company established to extend InvestLab’s expertise and services to Sri Lankan customers. While InvestLab has primarily focused on supporting international clients over the past five years, RightVantage represents the company’s move to develop solutions specifically designed for businesses and customers within Sri Lanka.
The launch reflects InvestLab’s confidence in the local market and its intention to apply its operational experience, industry knowledge and service capabilities towards creating value for Sri Lankan clients, extending a model that has already proven successful internationally to a domestic audience.
The event also recognised employees for their commitment and contribution to the organisation’s growth. Lead Estimator Jessica Nicholas received the Five Years of Service Excellence award in recognition of outstanding commitment and contributions throughout the company’s first five years. Talent Acquisition and Administration Manager Vashani Maddumage was presented with the Five Years of Dedicated Service and Valuable Contribution award, acknowledging her sustained commitment and significant role in supporting the organisation’s development.
Rubera said honouring long-serving employees remained an important part of InvestLab’s culture, reflecting its belief that sustainable business success is built on dedicated people, teamwork and shared values.

The celebration was attended by Chief Guest Hemas COE, General Manager – Shared Services Chamila Cooray, and InvestLab Business Solutions representatives.
Looking ahead, InvestLab reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainable growth and strengthening its contribution to Sri Lanka’s business community through both InvestLab and its newly launched RightVantage.
