Innovar achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for ISMS

Innovar Ltd., has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS), marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to information security, operational excellence, and customer trust.

The certification, issued by Scandinavian Business Certification AB (SB Cert), an internationally accredited certification body operating under the accreditation of SWEDAC (the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment), reflects Innovar’s dedication to safeguarding information assets, strengthening data protection practices, and maintaining internationally recognised information security standards. This achievement further demonstrates the company’s commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and resilient technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern organisations.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), providing a structured framework for identifying, managing, and continually improving information security risks while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. 

Achieving this certification demonstrates that Innovar has implemented internationally accepted best practices for protecting critical information assets and maintaining a robust information security governance framework.

The certification covers the design, implementation, configuration, monitoring, support, and maintenance of Innovar’s cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure, enterprise networking, managed services, and IT consultancy solutions. 

It was awarded following a comprehensive audit conducted under the SB Cert certification framework with local support from Control Union, evaluating the company’s governance, operational processes, risk management practices, and information security controls.
