ICT veteran Kanchana Thudugala appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Epic Lanka

Epic Lanka, the Sri Lankan pioneer in Digital Transformation and Fintech, recently welcomed Kanchana Thudugala as their Chief Operating Officer. In this pivotal role, Kanchana will oversee the quality assurance and delivery of Epic’s suite of 22 solutions.

With an illustrious career spanning 25 years, Kanchana’s journey began in 1998 as a Programmer, marking the inception of his deep-rooted expertise in the ICT industry. His career flourished at the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), where he was the Chief Digital Government Officer. During his tenure, Kanchana spearheaded numerous national-level digital initiatives, including developing and implementing enterprise solutions for Government Institutions, Government Networks, and Cloud infrastructure. His knowledge and insights have contributed significantly towards formulating strategies to implement digital transformation in state enterprises.

Kanchana holds a master’s degree in IT from the University of Moratuwa and is professionally qualified in Project Management from the Project Management Institute, USA.
