HUTCH responds to today’s needs for more affordable ‘Study from Home’ plans

HUTCH, Sri Lanka’s preferred choice for mobile broadband services, in yet another customer-first initiative, has introduced more affordable ‘Study from Home’ plans.

As the go-to telecom operator when it comes to affordable data plans, HUTCH continues to listen to customers’ pain points and curate solutions to suit the increasing need to access online classes and lectures.

To this end, HUTCH has introduced two Study from Home plans at very affordable price points of only Rs. 29 and Rs. 69. The Study from Home buddy plan, priced at Rs. 29, comes with 2 GB of data and is valid for two days, while the Rs. 69 buddy plan comes with 7 GB of data and is valid for 7 days. Both plans provide access to essential apps for study purposes, such as ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Google Classroom, plus web browsing.

HUTCH had already introduced a 30-day Work, Study, Zoom data plan, which comes with a 20 GB Anytime data quota for Rs. 551 and is available for both prepaid and postpaid users. Apart from the access to the same apps as the Study from Home plans, additional benefits of this plan include unlimited access to YouTube.

Commenting on the new Study from Home data plans, HUTCH General Manager - Marketing Hamdhy Hassen said: “The newly launched plans will help students to study SMART from the comfort of home.
