HP has introduced the HP DesignJet Smart Tank T908 MFP and T858 SFP, the first large-format ink tank printers in Sri Lanka, exclusively distributed by The Technocity Ltd.
Designed for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) professionals, who increasingly work in a hybrid environment, and copy shops, this new 36-inch HP DesignJet portfolio delivers cost-effective, high-speed printing with industry-leading security.
“The AEC industry operates in a hybrid landscape, where efficiency and precision are paramount,” said The Technocity HP Products Business Head Gehan Thangappan. “With this launch, we are bringing high-quality, cost-efficient large format printing to professionals who demand reliability and performance at scale.”
These printers provide massive speeds – printing up to 120 A1 pages per hour – paired with spill-free refillable ink tanks, whilst being accompanied by HP Wolf Security, ensuring next-gen endpoint protection for businesses that cannot afford to take chances – a key differentiator in today’s cyber threat landscape.

HP’s new 36-inch DesignJet portfolio, including the HP DesignJet T850/T950 or Smart Tank T908 MFP/T858 SFP, also aligns with sustainability goals through the Forest First initiative. Each page printed contributes to forest restoration efforts in collaboration with non-profits.
