DMS Software Technologies Ltd., successfully hosted «FinOps Unlocked: Cloud Clarity Delivered with IBM Cloudability» on 10 June at the Celestine Ballroom, Cinnamon Life, Colombo, attracting a full house of technology leaders, cloud professionals, CIOs, IT decision-makers, and business executives from leading organisations across Sri Lanka.
The event focused on helping organisations navigate the evolving landscape of cloud financial management and optimise cloud investments through FinOps best practices. The opening session, «From Cloud Spend to Business Value: The FinOps Journey,» was delivered by IBM Corporation Partner Sales, ISA and SEA Vijay Balan. His session explored how organisations can gain deeper visibility into cloud costs, improve accountability, and establish effective governance frameworks through IBM Cloudability. He also walked the audience through a live demonstration of the Cloudability platform, showcasing its powerful capabilities in cloud cost management, spend optimisation, resource allocation, and real-time financial visibility, providing attendees with practical insights into how organisations can transform cloud data into actionable business intelligence.
A key highlight of the event was the announcement by DMS Software Technologies Director/CEO Lasantha Bogoda, on the launch of the DMS IBM Cloudability Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program in Sri Lanka. The initiative marks a significant milestone in supporting local enterprises with enhanced cloud cost management, financial accountability, and optimisation capabilities.
