Bluechip Technologies Asia participated in the SolarX Startup Challenge APAC Acceleration Program, held in Singapore from 4 to 6 February, bringing together investors, clean-energy startups, and innovation leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The program was hosted by the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and focused on accelerating scalable solar and clean-energy innovations.

The three-day acceleration program commenced with an intensive opening day that fostered direct, action-oriented engagement between startups and investors. A key highlight was the “Swimming with Sharks” pitch session, where 14 winning startups from the Asia-Pacific region presented their solar-based innovations. The session enabled in-depth investor interactions, providing candid feedback on investment readiness, business scalability, market positioning, and growth strategies.

Unlike conventional pitch events, the session emphasised constructive critique and mentorship, allowing startups to refine their business models and align their technologies with investor and market expectations.

The opening day concluded with a felicitation ceremony, formally recognising the winners of the SolarX Startup Challenge – APAC Edition, celebrating innovation and impact in advancing solar and clean-energy adoption across the region.

During the program, Bluechip Technologies Asia actively engaged in AI-driven technology collaboration discussions, particularly exploring how artificial intelligence can complement renewable-energy solutions through smart analytics, optimisation, forecasting, and decision-support systems. The participation reinforced Bluechip Technologies Asia’s commitment to supporting sustainable innovation through advanced AI technologies and cross-border collaboration.

The SolarX Startup Challenge APAC Acceleration Program concluded on 6 February, following multiple mentoring sessions, investor interactions, and strategic workshops aimed at helping startups scale their solutions across regional and global markets.

The event highlighted Singapore’s role as a leading hub for clean-energy innovation and underscored the importance of collaboration between technology providers, startups, and investors in accelerating the transition to sustainable energy systems.
