Outstanding regional employees of SLT rewarded for their service excellence

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the national ICT solutions provider successfully concluded its annual Regional Group Service Excellence Awards ceremony recently at the BMICH Colombo. This award ceremony recognised and rewarded exceptional performance of the regional staff during 2013, and saw the participation of nearly 800 employees representing all provinces of the country. Awards were presented for best regional Telecom offices and Teleshops, outside plant maintenance centres, network teams, sales teams and accounting teams. Special awards were also presented to best performing contractors. SLT Chairman Nimal Welgama was the Guest of Honour at the event while SLT Group CEO Lalith de Silva was the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address appreciating the contributions from Regional Group staff during 2013.
