Vision 8 Academy completes 500 training programs within 72 months

Vision 8 Academy Chief Visionary Officer Amintha De Silva conducted the 500th program in the Commanding Officers Conclave on 8 March 2023 at Navy Headquarters Auditorium.

Chief Guest of the occasion was Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral U.V.M.P. Perera, RSP, ndu, psc.

Vision 8 Academy (V8A) has been in the market since March 2015.

They have conducted below visionary and innovative programs since then. Customer relationship management, cross selling and up selling, creating a sales culture, customer centricity, change management, work-life balancing, mindfulness for success, emotional intelligence, law of attraction, self-grooming, leadership, teamwork and collaboration, financial literacy, financial management, strategies to sustain businesses is a crisis situation and mystery shopping have been its Customer Centric Management Programs.

V8A has Introduced CRM and Cross Selling training concept to local market and trained the entire branch staff of National Savings Bank, DFCC Bank, Pan Asia Bank, Fintrex Finance, Sarvodaya Finance, FAB Foods, trained the operations staff/credit card sales team of Sampath Bank, branch staff of Bank of Ceylon, Peoples Bank, Cargills Bank, RDB, HDFC, SMIB, sales teams of Central Finance, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, Amana Takaful, Mediquipment to name a few.

Furthermore, V8A conducted motivational and inspirational training programs for Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corp, Sri Lanka Air Force, and Sri Lanka Police. V8A had trained 25,000 professionals in Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Qatar up to now and completed over 100,000 training hours.

V8A, is headed by business leader Dr. Tissa Jayaweera.

V8A had conducted 321 online training programs during the crisis period and Amintha was picked as the best innovative trainer in 2021 during the Annual Award Ceremony of Asia FINTEC Academy.

Amintha was also picked as best trainer in 2018 and 2019 due to his initiative of CRM and Cross Selling training program series to the local market by Business World International, USA.

Amintha is a well-known TV presenter and motivator at Rupavahini, ITN, Siyatha, Charana, Derana Education channels. He is an ex-banker, master trainer, the renowned customer relationship management and cross selling expert trained by McKinsey and Company, USA during his tenure at EmiratesNBD Bank, Dubai, and UAE.
