The opportunities the company has offered have allowed me to thrive both professionally and personally. This recognition confirms that Uzabase truly invests in its millennial employees, ensuring a fulfilling journey.

“The core of our unique work culture stems from our 7 Values; they form a kind of DNA that is ingrained and practised daily. Values such as ‘We need what you bring’ emphasise how each member is seen as a value addition because of their unique combination of life experiences. Transparency and open communication are highly valued and demonstrated in making pay scales and title designations visible to anyone in the organisation. Guided by a competency framework, there is little room for ambiguity.”

Managing Director and Chief Content Officer Mifnaz Jawahar and Director/Country Head Thilan Sampath said: “Even before the pandemic, Uzabase practiced a hybrid work model, allowing employees more flexibility. Employees are trusted; the company runs on an honour system, where working hours are not tracked as long as the deliverables are met.

The fair, transparent, and open culture is an antidote for unwanted ‘office politics’, making the company a very pleasant place to work in, where everyone supports each other to learn and grow.”
