University of Moratuwa completes 20th of inaugural lecture series

University of Moratuwa’s Inaugural lecture series brings out the newly appointed Professors to the public view. The objective being to communicate and inspire with their research and societal impact with of course the intention of generating more interaction and positive connectivity. Inaugural lecture represents a significant milestone in a university academics career, when one observes the practice elsewhere. The event celebrates their promotion to the rank of Professor or other Professorship at the University. University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Graduate Studies hosts this event as a public event.  

The 20th lecture in the series was by Department of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Architecture Professor Upendra Rajapakse and he spoke on “Setting Equations in the Art of Making Architecture at Net Sero” on 31 October.  Prof. Upendra Rajapakse was introduced by Prof. Tishan Jayasinghe and the event memento presented to him by Dean of Faculty of Architecture Prof. Yasangika Sandanayake.
