Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2021 to highlight importance of ‘Optimising your Value Chain’

‘Optimising your Value Chain’, the third session at the upcoming Sri Lanka Retailers Forum 2021 will aim to understand the Omni channel experience in meeting consumer demands and recognise the key pain points. 

The session will focus on the future role of the physical store and how online strategy will be developed. Based on this, it will be important to learn what the implications for supply chains would be and how businesses can adopt their existing strategies. The session will also cover the aspect of sustainability in all areas of the supply chain, dissect the key lessons from the pandemic in terms of the value chain and how firms can do better in addressing these gaps. 

The expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session three are McKinsey & Company Partner Xin Huang and SPAR Sri Lanka CEO Martin Schoeman. They will be joined by panellists KPMG Sri Lanka Partner Kamaya Perera and Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company PLC CEO Dilhan Fernando. The session will be moderated by WiLat Global Chairperson – CILT International Gayani De Alwis. 

The Sri Lanka Retailers Association (Guarantee) Ltd. (SLRA), will host the island’s premier retail sector forum for the fourth year. This year’s Sri Lanka Retail Forum themed, ‘Recharging Retail: Resilience to Results’ is scheduled for 13 October. SLRA is the sole industry body for this sector, representing 47 leading and national level retail firms, with countrywide reach across various product segments.
