Shaping What Comes Next: AHRP Brings Global Perspectives to the Future of Work

As the Association of Human Resources Professionals Sri Lanka marks its 25th anniversary, its Knowledge Sharing Session today will look beyond the milestone to the forces reshaping the workplace. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Work and Organisations,” the session will examine how changes in leadership, skills, performance and technology are redefining organisations, and what these shifts mean for Sri Lankan businesses and HR professionals.

The programme will open with a keynote address by Ankhit Khanna, Director, Talent Solutions for South India and Sri Lanka at LinkedIn, who will set the context for the discussion. The panel will bring together Guna Grace, Head of Enterprise Sales for South India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives at LinkedIn; Anshuman Upadhyaya, Managing Director and Partner at BCG; Shaakun Khanna, Senior Advisor and Head of Leadership and HR Transformation at SHRM; and Chathuri Munaweera, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Insurance Sri Lanka. Ravi Jayasekera, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer of Hemas Holdings PLC, will moderate the session. Drawing on perspectives from technology, global advisory, insurance and HR transformation, the discussion will focus on four areas that are becoming increasingly important to organisational success: skills-based operating models, leadership in the age of AI, performance and value creation, and the responsible integration of people and technology.

The session will offer Sri Lankan business and HR leaders practical insight into the global trends influencing workforce and organisational strategy. More importantly, it will explore how these developments can be understood and applied within the local business context as organisations prepare for the next phase of change.
