As environmental, social and governance (ESG) expectations continue to grow, organisations are increasingly recognising that effective communication is critical to building stakeholder trust, strengthening reputation and creating long-term brand value.

Responding to this growing need, FireCircle by G has opened registrations for the second edition of its ‘From Compliance to Brand Equity’ ESG Storytelling Workshop, scheduled to take place on 30 July at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

Designed for professionals in sustainability, ESG, marketing, communications, HR, investor relations and corporate affairs, the half-day workshop will provide practical tools and frameworks to help organisations communicate their ESG initiatives with clarity, credibility and purpose.

Facilitated by strategic communications specialist and FireCircle by G Founder Gayani Punchihewa, the workshop explores how organisations can move beyond compliance-led reporting to develop authentic ESG narratives that strengthen stakeholder engagement and enhance brand reputation.

“Many organisations are doing meaningful ESG work, but struggle to communicate it effectively,” said Punchihewa. “Today, stakeholders expect more than data and disclosures. They want transparency, authenticity and evidence of impact. Organisations that communicate their ESG journey well are better positioned to build trust and differentiate themselves.”

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the workshop will cover ESG storytelling frameworks, stakeholder-focused messaging, identifying compelling stories within organisations, and practical approaches to communicating sustainability initiatives while avoiding greenwashing.

The program is ideal for organisations looking to strengthen internal ESG communication capabilities and is recommended for sustainability teams, marketing and communications professionals, HR practitioners, investor relations teams and senior management.

Participation is Rs. 8,500 per person, with special rates available for group registrations.
