RMD Consultants Ltd., a leading HR consultancy specialising in human resources management, has announced its 3rd public Japanese Management Training Program (MTP), starting 6 May 2026. This program also marks the 60th MTP batch conducted in Sri Lanka, reinforcing RMD’s reputation in management development and organisational excellence.
The six-week program, held at a leading four-star hotel in Colombo, spans 64 hours of blended learning over six consecutive Wednesdays. It combines interactive workshops, guided assignments, and 17 video-based case studies to ensure practical application. Key topics include management principles, problem-solving and creativity, improvement and management of work, building trust-based relationships, leadership, and human behaviour. The program will be led by RMD Consultants Managing Director and Aitken Spence PLC former CHRO Rohan Pandithakorralage who has successfully trained more than 5,000 managers to obtain the license to manage across Southeast Asia, many of whom now hold prominent leadership positions in local and international organisations. As a founder fellow member, Pandithakorralage has also played an active role in establishing the Association of HR Professionals (AHRP) in Sri Lanka.
“RMD Consultants specialises in delivering data-driven, practical, and results-oriented HR solutions,” said Pandithakorralage. “Our goal is to help organisations prevent costly HR mistakes, strengthen their people systems, and build productive, engaged, and future-ready workplaces.”
Founded in 2022 by Rohan Pandithakorralage, Madaara Ranwala, and Dilshini Samarawickrema, RMD Consultants serves companies in over 20 industries. At the core of its service offering is HR diagnostics and strategic consulting, delivered through its structured CIDS framework—consultation, in-depth analysis, diagnosis, and solution development. Building on these insights, RMD diagnoses critical HR and organisational issues, assessing their impact on performance, engagement, and cost, and provides clear, data-driven recommendations. Tailored HR strategies and action plans are developed with defined timelines, supported implementation, and measurable outcomes. This approach helps organisations reduce hiring errors and turnover, improve productivity and engagement, and align people strategies with business objectives.
RMD also offers specialised talent sourcing and headhunting across all organisational levels, from entry-level and internships to middle management and C-suite positions. Leveraging a curated professional network, RMD goes beyond job descriptions to understand the true business context of each role. By mapping the talent market, engaging passive candidates, and applying rigorous screening for both technical competence and cultural fit, RMD consistently delivers high-quality, role-ready candidates. This approach accelerates hiring cycles, reduces mis-hires, and strengthens long-term retention.
“We are deeply committed to giving back to society,” Pandithakorralage added. “We maintain strong partnerships with leading universities in Sri Lanka to empower undergraduates with essential managerial skills for their future careers.”
The upcoming Management Training Program is a valuable opportunity for organisations and professionals seeking to strengthen managerial effectiveness and build future-ready leadership capabilities.
