PIM welcomes Mastercard as strategic corporate partner

The pioneer in postgraduate management education in Sri Lanka, PIM, launched an exclusive strategic partner agreement with global payment system solutions giant Mastercard on 8 November at the PIM premises. 

As a result of this partnership, the two entities would collaborate to enable further knowledge creation between Mastercard, PIM and the learning partners of PIM while Mastercard also gets further opportunities to be actively engaging in the academic and professional activities of PIM.

Commenting on the occasion, PIM Director Dr. Senaka Kelum Gamage thanked MasterCard for coming forward to partner with PIM to add value to learning partners while Mastercard Sri Lanka and Maldives Country Manager Sandun Hapugoda expressed the intentions of Mastercard to collaborate with academic institutions and professional bodies in furthering the impact of payment solutions in Sri Lanka as the country strives forward towards being a more impactful player in the digital economy. 

The event was attended by members of the academia and the administration of PIM as well as Mastercard Director Mahesha Amarasuriya.
