Nestlé Lanka was awarded both a Gold Award and the prestigious Platinum Award at the SLITAD People Development Awards 2025/26, reaffirming its commitment to building a culture where people can grow and thrive.
Organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD), the People Development Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate excellence in developing their people through effective learning, leadership, and performance practices aligned with business strategy.
Nestlé Lanka’s achievement carries special significance, as the company was one of only two organisations to receive the coveted Platinum Award this year. The highest distinction under the awards program, the Platinum Award is reserved for organisations that have achieved Gold Award status for three consecutive years, reflecting sustained excellence and long-term commitment to people development.
Nestlé Lanka was assessed across 10 key standards spanning learning and development, leadership, people management, employee empowerment, recognition, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.
