Kegalle Plantations PLC has appointed Dinusha Perera to its Board as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director.
Perera is an accomplished finance and operations professional with over 22 years of experience in leading Sri Lankan conglomerates. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer – Hardware Sector of the Local Manufacturing and Distribution Sector at Richard Pieris & Company PLC and as a Director at Arpitec Ltd.
He has previously held key leadership roles including Head of Finance – Aitken Spence Hotel Sector, Chief Financial Officer for multiple sectors at the Hayleys Group, and General Manager at St. Anthony’s Industries Group. His multidisciplinary experience also spans Brandix Mercury Asia Ltd., Lankem Ceylon PLC, and Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka Ltd.
Perera possesses extensive expertise in financial management, financial reporting, corporate governance, taxation, financial analysis, Auditing, operational management, and strategic planning. His broad skill set enables him to effectively drive organisational performance, implement robust financial controls, and lead cross-functional teams toward achieving sustainable business growth.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and an Associate Member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Ruhuna.
