Great Place To Work recently announced the 200 Best Workplaces in Asia for 2026. The list is based on confidential employee survey data, with over 3.8 million individual responses representing the experiences of nearly 8.9 million employees from across the Middle East and Asia region including  Bahrain, Great China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, UAE and Vietnam.

All organisations were ranked in two size category lists; 100 Best Workplaces in small and medium category (50 - 499 employees), 100 Best Workplaces in the large category (500 or more employees).

15 Sri Lankan winners among Sri Lanka’s 50 Best Workplaces for 2026 were felicitated at a Gala Awards Ceremony held on 11 September at Cinnamon Life Colombo.

Employees reported their experiences of trust, innovation by all, living by organisational values, and effective leadership. From this feedback, 200 organisations were selected and ranked on their success in creating a For All workplace experience, where employees report a consistently positive experience, regardless of job title, work status, or other demographic identifiers.

Across the organisations recognised in 2026, employees reported a highly positive workplace experience, averaging 91%. As the employee experience improves, companies also find stronger business performance, the result of the Great Place To Work Effect.

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Asia,” says Great Place To Work CEO Michael C. Bush. “These companies are delivering outstanding experiences for employees across an immense variety of markets, from developing countries to established post-industrial economies.
