Sri Lanka’s most anticipated intellectual showdown in the people profession is back—bigger, bolder, and more future-focused than ever before.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM) has announced The Great HR Quiz 2026, the ninth, inviting organisations across the country to nominate their best minds and take centre stage at one of the most talked-about events on the professional calendar.
Scheduled for Wednesday, 28 January, at the elegant Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, The Great HR Quiz 2026 promises an electrifying experience that goes far beyond a traditional quiz. This flagship event has evolved in step with the rapidly transforming HR landscape, mirroring the strategic, digital, and human-centred capabilities demanded of modern HR leaders.
This year’s quiz is fully aligned with the entire employee life cycle, seamlessly embedding the 16 HR dimensions of The Great HR Awards. From strategy and talent to rewards, culture, technology, analytics, sustainability, and the future of work, the competition challenges participants to demonstrate holistic HR mastery with real business impact.
Over the years, the Great HR Quiz has played a pivotal role in raising HR standards across organisations, encouraging learning, benchmarking, and strategic thinking—while fostering healthy competition and cross-industry knowledge sharing. Many organisations credit the quiz with strengthening HR capability, sharpening business acumen, and enhancing employer brand visibility.
CIPM Sri Lanka President Priyantha Ranasinghe said: “The Great HR Quiz has firmly established itself as one of the most significant events in the CIPM calendar.
