ComBank felicitates employees for 25 years of service

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon recently celebrated “25 years of shared prosperity and achievement” with a group of long-serving employees at the 2023 edition of the bank’s annual Seniority Awards. 

The event at the Grand Ballroom of Waters Edge, Battaramulla, saw 71 employees that have completed 25 years of service being felicitated with valuable gifts and plaques of appreciation.

Commercial Bank Chairman Prof. Ananda Jayawardane was Chief Guest at the gala event attended by the bank’s Managing Director/CEO Sanath Manatunge, members of the board of directors, and representatives of the corporate and senior management. Members of the families of felicitated staff were also invited to the celebrations that followed the ceremony.

Many of the recipients of seniority awards were school leavers when they joined the bank in 1998, and hold key positions in various departments and branches today, the bank said.
