Better HR, a cloud-based HR and payroll software provider supporting businesses across Sri Lanka, has announced a new initiative to help organisations improve efficiency and reporting through practical use of AI within HR operations.
Starting this month, all Better HR clients in Sri Lanka will receive USD 50 worth of Better HR AI usage free every month, valid throughout 2026.
The benefit will be applied automatically, with no additional charges, no activation steps, and no changes to existing subscriptions.
This initiative is intended to support HR and operations teams who manage growing workforce complexity, reporting requirements, compliance obligations, and time constraints while operating with lean teams.
Better HR AI is integrated directly into the Better HR platform and allows HR teams to perform both operational tasks and reporting using natural language instructions, without navigating multiple screens or preparing reports manually.
Using the AI Agent, HR teams can: Generate attendance, leave, overtime, payroll, and compliance reports; Compile customised HR and management reports for leadership; Analyse trends such as lateness, absenteeism, overtime, and payroll costs; Update leave and attendance records; Run payroll and calculate commissions; Approve overtime and manage duty rosters; Add, resign, or remove employees from the system; Send probation forms, warning letters, and HR notices and Set reminders for important HR and compliance actions.
All actions and reports are generated securely within the Better HR system and remain fully auditable.
Better HR AI is designed to be affordable and suitable for daily use with average cost of $ 0.05–0.10 per instruction for an organisation with around 100 employees.
The complimentary USD 50 monthly credit allows HR teams to use AI regularly for both operations and reporting without budget concerns.
The main benefit for HR managers is time savings. HR professionals already understand their work and reporting requirements. What slows them down is system navigation, repetitive tasks, and manual report preparation. Better HR AI reduces this effort by allowing teams to state what they need — whether an action or a report — and letting the system handle execution.
This enables HR teams to focus more on people management, planning, and decision-making.
Better HR Country Manager – Sri Lanka Prashanth Rajkrishna Rajaratnam said: “HR teams in Sri Lanka are expected to deliver accurate operations and timely reports with limited resources. By offering free AI usage every month throughout 2026, we are giving our clients a practical way to simplify both daily HR work and reporting without increasing costs or system complexity.”
This complimentary AI credit programme reflects Better HR’s continued commitment to supporting digital HR adoption in Sri Lanka. By embedding AI directly into core HR, payroll, and reporting workflows, Better HR helps organisations modernise operations while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and control.
