BIMT Campus CEO Farshath Jamal receives award from CPM’s Governing Council Members
BIMT Campus Chief Executive Officer Farshath Jamal, has received national recognition at the prestigious Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2025, organised by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers (CPM Sri Lanka).
He was named 1st Runner-Up in two significant categories: Education and Professional Institutes, and the Entrepreneurship special awards segment, marking a notable achievement in both academic and entrepreneurial leadership.
The CPM Sri Lanka’s Management Leadership Excellence Awards aim to honour individuals who successfully transform strategic vision into real-world organisational impact. Winners are selected based on key leadership competencies, including innovation, brand-building, community engagement, and exemplary management. The awards cover both sector-specific recognitions and special categories, such as Entrepreneurship and Start‑Up, to highlight leaders driving sustainable business growth and innovation.
In the Education and Professional Institutes category, Jamal was acknowledged for his significant contribution to enhancing academic excellence and professional development through his leadership at BIMT Campus. The recognition highlights the institution’s growing role in shaping Sri Lanka’s educational landscape.
Jamal was also honoured as 1st Runner-Up in the Entrepreneurship and Start‑Up category, celebrating his success in launching and leading innovative ventures. His entrepreneurial efforts have helped position BIMT Campus as a forward-thinking institution that blends education with enterprise.
