  • MoU unites AHRP’s new brand and member platforms, Sentiva’s AI-native HR innovation, and Altrium’s global engineering expertise to redefine the future of HR

The Association of HR Professionals (AHRP), has announced the signing of a three-way Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sentiva, an AI-native HR platform covering every stage of the employee journey, and Altrium, a New York-headquartered software consultancy specialising in Generative AI solutions with its engineering centre in Sri Lanka.

The event, titled “Concord” was held at Shangri-La Colombo, hosted by Sentiva, and celebrated multiple milestones: AHRP unveiled its refreshed brand identity and website, reflecting a bold vision for the future as it celebrates 25 years of service to the nation’s HR community. Sentiva shared updates on its platform expansion and announced that its global launch is scheduled for October at the World AI Summit in Amsterdam, underscoring its mission to help organisations hire smarter, engage more effectively. Altrium, recognised for building intelligent platforms that handle over $ 3 billion in transactions annually, developed AHRP’s new website and brand identity, serving as AHRP’s strategic technology partner.

The three-way MoU establishes a long-term strategic collaboration to strengthen HR innovation, digital adoption, and professional development in Sri Lanka.

A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion, “Disengagement is the New Resignation,” moderated by Ashan Rodrigo. The panel featured Brandix Dinusha Jayamanne, Mova/ARA Kaushal Mendis, Fortude Oshana Dias, and Sentiva Yohan Liyanage. Panellists examined the silent cost of disengagement, how to spot early warning signs, and the need to redesign work for resilience and trust. They emphasised moving beyond quick fixes to future-focused strategies that balance performance, well-being, and the smart use of technology.

“This partnership represents more than technology—it’s about building sentient workplaces that can listen, adapt, and grow with their people,” said Sentiva Founder and CEO Yohan Liyanage. “With our global launch set for October at the World AI Summit, we are proud to showcase how an AI-native HR platform can transform the way leaders approach talent, culture, and growth.”

By digitising and streamlining operations, AHRP’s new platform will enhance member engagement, enable seamless access to resources, and create a stronger foundation for collaboration within the HR community.

“At Altrium, we are passionate about applying our expertise in Generative AI to deliver platforms that create real impact,” said Altrium Director of Delivery Rukshan Salgado. “Our work with AHRP reflects our commitment to empowering professional communities with technology that is secure, scalable, and future-ready.”

The event also honoured AHRP’s 25-year journey as a trusted voice for HR professionals in Sri Lanka.

AHRP President Thushara Jayawardana said, “This partnership ensures our members gain access to world-class tools and knowledge, enabling Sri Lanka’s HR profession to lead confidently into the future.”
