The greatest threat to humanity is not nuclear weapons, climate change, or artificial intelligence.
It is the untamed human ego — the very force that sparked the breakthrough innovations and material benefits we enjoy today.
This does not in any way diminish the potential dangers of nuclear weapons and climate change, which are themselves the consequences of untamed human ambitions (greed).
Unless humanity takes a balanced approach, every innovation will carry within it the seeds of destruction.
