Chiropractic is a branch of medical science which deals with the central nervous system and the spine. A misaligned spine can act as the catalyst for many other problems in the body, and apart from causing pain, is often the cause of conditions such as impaired immune function, hormonal imbalances, and reduced brain function. Chiropractic treatments can assist people suffering from back/neck pain, muscle tightness, sciatica, bulging discs, arthritis, headaches, postural imbalances, stress, lack of energy, immune disorders and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Gina Variath Perera, a Sri Lankan currently residing in Auckland, New Zealand, graduated as a chiropractor from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2009 with a doctorate in Chiropractic and possesses a Chiropractic Board Annual Practising Certificate.
