“It has been established beyond any doubt that diabetes is on the rise in Sri Lanka. The first step in making the necessary lifestyle changes to prevent diabetes or to effectively manage the condition, is to have a comprehensive assessment of one’s risk of becoming a diabetic, or, in the case of a diabetic, to check on the degree of control and the progress of complications,” said Ceylinco Diabetes Centre Chief Medical Officer Dr. Charuky Weerasuriya. “This package has been carefully designed to make a truly definitive assessment of all these aspects.”
Packages can be obtained by visiting the Centre at Park Street, Colombo 2, on prior appointments made over phone number 011 2 490290 the Centre said.
Established 11 years ago this May, the Ceylinco Diabetes Centre is a ground-breaking unit of Ceylinco Healthcare Services Ltd., (CHSL) a subsidiary of Ceylinco Life, the country’s leading life insurer.
