Vida Medical Clinic has marked a significant milestone with the opening of its newly expanded facility in Colombo 5. The move to a larger, purpose-built space reflects the clinic’s continued growth and commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare services to patients across Sri Lanka.

Founded in 2021, Vida Medical Clinic has rapidly built a reputation for excellence by combining professional medical expertise with compassionate care. The move to the new premises reflects the clinic’s continued growth and its commitment to expanding services to better meet the evolving healthcare needs of patients.

Located at 23 Police Park Avenue, Colombo 5, the new facility spans more than 4,000 square feet and has been carefully designed to enhance patient mobility, safety, and comfort. The upgraded clinic includes three consultation rooms, a physiotherapy room, a psychology consultation room, and a fully equipped procedure room, all fitted with high-low examination tables, including bariatric-friendly equipment, and ergonomic workstations for medical professionals. A spacious waiting lounge ensures a comfortable environment for patients and their families.

The clinic also features a dedicated laboratory space, allowing patients to access essential tests on site, significantly reducing the need to travel to external diagnostic centres. The expanded layout has been designed to improve patient flow and enable better care coordination between healthcare professionals.

Founder and Managing Director Devin Ambalangodage noted that the new facility represents a significant step forward in strengthening Vida’s healthcare offering. “The opening of our new clinic marks an important milestone for Vida Medical Clinic and reinforces our commitment to elevating the standard of care available to our patients. This investment enables us to provide more comprehensive services and a more comfortable clinical environment, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care in one convenient location.”

Medical Director Dr. Chandana Galappaththi emphasised that the expansion aligns with Vida’s patient-first philosophy. “At Vida, the patient is at the centre of every decision we make. Expanding into this larger space allows us to further strengthen our patient-centric model while delivering more integrated healthcare services. Our goal is to support individuals and families not only when they are ill, but throughout their wellness journey.”

The clinic is expanding its range of healthcare services to include Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments, which support wound healing, aid recovery from joint injuries, and aid hair restoration procedures. In addition, Vida Medical Clinic now offers multivitamin IV therapy, designed to support energy levels, immunity, skin health, and recovery from fatigue.

Alongside its in-clinic services, Vida Medical Clinic continues to strengthen its home healthcare and emergency response capabilities. The clinic provides 24-hour emergency services and an islandwide ambulance network, staffed by trained medical professionals who deliver urgent care and safe patient transport.

Vida Medical Clinic offers a wide spectrum of services, including family medicine (OPD), specialist consultations, physiotherapy, sports medicine and recovery, nutrition and diet planning, sexual health services, mental health care, and comprehensive home-care services.

A key initiative is ‘Serenity by Vida,’ a specialised elderly care program that delivers medical attention, emotional support, and wellness care directly to seniors in the comfort of their homes. The program focuses on the holistic well-being of elderly patients, addressing their medical, psychological, and nutritional needs.

Dr. Burhanuddin Hamza highlighted that the clinic’s approach is rooted in delivering personalised healthcare. “At Vida Medical Clinic, the essence of our service is centred on the patient. Our foundation is built on efficiency, compassion, and ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors leaves feeling confident that they have received the best possible care and guidance.”

In addition to its in-clinic services, Vida Medical Clinic also provides doctor consultations at homes, offices, and hotels, catering to both local residents and international visitors seeking reliable, convenient healthcare solutions.
