My Dentist chain of clinics celebrates Sri Lanka’s first-of-its-kind expansion program

My Dentist, a state-of-the-art facility – the most advanced of its kind in the country has opened 10 clinics during the short period between March and December 2021, which has the capability of catering to more than 9000 patients per month. 

The My Dentist chain concept is backed by Ataraxia Capital Partners.

The official launch of its expansion program was presided over by a prominent Belgium based investor and My Dentist Director Michel Casselman.

The new chain of clinics, encompassing 28 dental surgeons plus consultants, will benefit Colombo and many suburban cities. The current pressing shortages in access to dental care in the country are well recognised. These areas can reasonably expect to see an increase in available dental services.

“It is the largest project undertaken at an existing dental clinic and all those involved in planning and implementation are to be congratulated for delivering such high-quality facilities on time within cost,” stated My Dentist CEO Hasika Jayasooriya at the launch.

My Dentist Director Sharad Sridharan stated: “Further expansion of the existing chain of clinics is part of a wider program that includes the development of easy-to-access dental care in all major cities with significant dental disease and inequalities in healthcare delivery.

It also hopes to provide services with other dental-care professionals (therapists, hygienists, dental nurses and technicians.) This approach will be supported with high-speed technology links to enable easy access to these services.”
