Brandix Group – leading Lankan corporate blood donor once again

Sri Lanka’s leading corporate blood donor, Brandix, demonstrated its commitment and care for the people of the country once again with its 16th Annual Group Blood Drive. Awarded the country’s Largest Corporate Blood Donor for the 13th consecutive year at the recent World Blood Donor Day celebrations, Brandix donated 2371 pints of blood to the National Blood Bank in the Year 2024. Since the inception of the annual blood drive, Brandix has donated a total of 47,655 pints of blood to date, benefiting over 142,965 patients across the country with the ‘gift of life.’

Held recently in Colombo, the program was organised by the National Blood Transfusion Service of Sri Lanka. The Award was presented by the Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya to Brandix Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Sustainability Malika Samaraweera and representing Brandix Ridigama facility Anoma Jayarathne received a special award for donating blood for the highest number of times.
