Police Department urges public: Don’t give money to beggars at Colombo traffic lights

In a bid to tackle the rising nuisance of beggars at traffic lights within the Colombo city limits, the Police Department has issued a stern warning to the public. Senior DIG Traffic Administration and Road Safety, Indika Hapugoda, emphasised the need for collective action during a recent press briefing.
