“If chemical fertiliser is not given for Yala season, consumers will have to buy sachet packets of rice”: URPA Chairman

“If chemical fertiliser is not given for the upcoming Yala season, rice consumers will have to buy sachet packets of rice instead of 5 kg or 10 kg packets in August,” United Rice Producers Association Chairman Muditha Perera said in a media briefing today at Sevagama area in Polonnaruwa.
